Quake Night Staff

Everyone here is a volunteer and is helping out because they love the Quake Live community and want it to stay strong. We have no sponsors, no corporate backing, aren't trying to turn any profit or sell you some product.

atastypie

Organized the first season of CAL RA3 and was an admin for the West teams. Organized and ran the Northwest RA3 league. Is really busy and likes to be able to know what time Quake is being played at next week—so don’t blow this for him.

driver8

driver8 has been playing Quake 3 since it’s release in 1999, competing in Rocket Arena 3 with clan NITE. He joined the Quake Live beta in January and soon formed clan pipeline to compete in Clan Arena. You’ll often see him on IRC, looking from CA scrims at two in the morning. Come yell at him in #quakenight if you’re ever bored.

ben

Ben has been running leagues and tournaments since 2003, starting with TWL RA3 and then Survival of the Fittest (SOTF) for Call of Duty. SOTF was regarded as the best amongst Call of Duty tournaments and hosted the community’s first competitive events for both Call of Duty 1 and Call of Duty 2. Ben also runs team focus27, a Dallas based Quake Live team, and is a full-time frontend web developer. You can be sure to catch him on a CA TX after hours.

guts

Bio coming soon.

xfoo

Can beat any of the other admins in a duel.

gibz

Bio coming soon.

house

He made the sweet “sleepy time” Quake Night logo. Mad props.

n4utikal

He stayed up for 27 hours straight to complete the excelelnt favicon for Quake Night so the least we could do is mention that he did it here.

Sirdark

sirdark is the founding member of an on-line gaming team, Team Silent Service ™, that has been around since December 1996. Team SS has virtually played all the Quake series games starting with Net Quake back in October 1996, most recently ETQW, and now QuakeLive. Sirdark has also been involved with on-line competitions dating back to Quake 3 with QIL (the Quake Invitational League) and ShowDown 1 & 2. He has given of his time to server as a player, a league admin, a referee and as a coach. His services continue as he gives of his time as he administrated Quake Night’s Season 1 (2009), East/West division and the newly created “QuakeLive TDM 2v2 League.” He is now actively managing QN’s Season2 TDM 2v2.

Fearghas

Smells like cheese according to his fans, but still knows the quake scene as well as most.
